Jonathan King, PhD, BVSc

Jon is a veterinarian and pharmacologist with 33 years industry experience in the evaluation, development, registration and marketing of pharmaceutical products for cats and dogs. His portfolio of development projects includes CLOMICALM, DERAMAXX, FORTEKOR, FORTEKOR PLUS, GALLIPRANT, LENZIAREN and ONSIOR. The combined global sales of these products exceed $1B+. He is a certified specialist in veterinary pharmacology, a Diplomate and an active member of the European Colleague of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology.

 

Throughout his career he has held positions such as Senior Research Advisor/Research Fellow for Companion Animal Development, Senior Clinical Development Manager, International Project Leader and others in Ciba-Geigy, Novartis Animal Health and Elanco Animal Health. Prior to joining industry, he worked as a clinician in equine and mixed animal practices in the UK.

 

Jon holds a PhD from the University of London studying colic in horses, a BVSc in Veterinary Science from the University of Bristol and a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Bristol.
